Welcome to The Veterans Garage

- An Illinois 501(c)3 Corp.

We are Veterans and Patriots proudly dedicated to the restoration, preservation, maintenance and display of Historic Military Vehicles and Equipment.

More importantly, we honor the Men and Women of the Armed Services by providing our vehicles at Veteran related events such as Parades, Welcome Home Escorts, Dedications and MUCH, MUCH more.

We offer to display privately owned Military Vehicles in support of events and programs hosted by organizations that work on behalf of Veterans - Such as The USO BBQ for The Brave, Operation: Firm Handshake, Operation: Honor, The Veterans Food Drive hosted by Caring Patriots, The Villages of Park Forest, Tinley Park, Richton Park, Matteson, Glenwood and Orland Park Veterans Commissions, Vet Tech, The Keeling Family Foundation, Veterans Vision of Orland Park, numerous VFWs, American Legions and many more.

The Veterans Garage is also a working maintenance and restoration facility that is made available for Military Vehicle owners to work on their Historic Vehicles. We'll even help transport vehicles to the garage to be inspected, maintained and repaired as needed to help keep this Historic equipment in operation.

More recently, we've begun refurbishing Historic Military equipment on public display. We've successfully refurbished FOUR  M5 Anti-Tank 3" Guns for local VFW's, American Legions, Park Districts and Villages. We're currently refurbishing a 1970's Nike MIssile for the Village of Oak Forest Park District.

We're proud to announce our newest project - OPERATION: PBR 7116 Rescue. On behalf of Retired Vietnam Veteran John McClurg (owner and PBR Captain), we are assisting in the complete restoration of PBR 31RP7116 (River Patrol Boat), an Icon of the Brown Water Navy. Click here to see the story, photos and video documentation of the work.
